I'm impressed by people who have a grand master cartographer title, simply because I don't have the patience to run through every part of the map like some people do.
Wisdom titles impresses me as well. I've got the first level on one character, working on it for 2 other characters.

If you're talking about unawaking waters.. I got bad news for you. There are 4-5 bosses in the explorable area and to get to that area, you need to leave from harvest temple. Also, there are several skills to be capped from Raisu palace.
As for survivors doing that mission.. make sure you go in with henchies and at a time where you'll get a hench team on the other side. It makes things soo much easier and you can pull out whenever things get too hairy.
I put my survivor mes through that mission using illusion of weakness and shadow refuge I'll admit to hitting max survivor before attempting it though, then being suprised that I didn't die in the mission.

Every title in this game requires excessive amounts of grind. People impressed by grind need to have their head checked.

Not to get too far off topic, but does more than 1 title show for those that have earned more than 1? I don't recall seeing anyone with more than 1 title before. I'm curious because my farming ranger has 6 titles (both cartographer, gold chest, gold id, and both friend of titles (none maxed)).

The Protector titles do not require grind, unless you're really piss-poor at doing the missions. If you play through the game normally, you should be close to getting these titles without grind.
I don't work on or have any interest in the "I have money to waste" titles like Drunkard. I have the Collector of Wisdom title on one character, but that came through simple gameplay; most people who have the higher levels in this buy unid gold item in Droks, so it becomes another "spending" title.
Titles are personal goals, and what they mean is up to each individual player. For me, having Master Cartographer (95%, don't have an interest in grind edges for the last 5%) and Protector are the only ones I use. I have Survivor (1) on my Rituslist, simply because it worke dout that way. In ELona, I'll probably grab the 95% exploration and protector titles for my two main characters, but nothing more.

Only one show at a time and you can chose which one you want to show by clicking on the check box on the Titles screen under the Hero menu.

The only title in either pve or pvp that would impress me is the People Know me title. I've seen someone with the Kinda of a big deal title. As for pvp titles I could'nt give a damm about any of them. Thier meaningless just like pvp is

I like my titles because I know what it took me to get them but I don't believe any of them are impressive why should I ? I collect titles when the name appeals to me not because I want to impress people.
If there was a partygoer title for those in possession of the drunkard, lucky, unlucky (and maybe a dance title) ... I would most likely grind for it but would expect from people to find it funny at best.

I'd like to know exactly what people would "know them" for as there's quite a few players "I know" who I wouldn't accept in a group in a million years (especially as I "know" the names of the majority of Monkbots, 55's posing as a "real monk" to get in a group, Scammers and non splitting 50/50's having seen them crop up a few times)
/Sarcasm

Just because you cant do it stop hating, I started my Legendary over 8 times before I made it. Just takes paitence and persistance. You guys need to stop belittling and defaming people. The true mark of a scrub is bashing others.

Dont think it's about hating, more about stating the obvious when it comes to the Survivor title.
OK picture the Scenario - you have 6 players out of 8 going for Survivor who for example decide to do Viznuah Square Mission how many do you think will be left in that team at the first sign of trouble?
Thats why the Survivor title is one of the worst in PuG's as it's a guaranteed dropout from the player trying to achieve it, and is why all of them are assumed to have been powerlevelled by guildies/friends or paid someone, as theres no way you can achieve Survivor 3 without being helped along the way in some shape or form, even if it means standing at the back and getting the XP.

Survivors don't pug. And those who try probably won't make survivor. Why trust your survival to a scrub monk who probably will be busy casting firestorm or something instead of healing? The overwhelming majority of survivors never pug at all (I didn't even consider even pugging at any time). Henches > pugs by far.

Thats what I said, theres no real way of getting it by playing the game "normally" so people resort to cheating their way to it, and yes it is cheating if you disconnect, as if it looks like it's going pear shaped as you're "cheating" death

I'd be impressed by someone with a title in the KOBD track (will want to see the next level when Nightfall is released). I'm also impressed with the cartographer title (100%) since I know how time consuming, tedious, and difficult it can be to achieve (more so in Tyria than in Cantha--the only challenge in Cantha is getting into Jade Quarry). Skill Hunter impresses me, as well.
When I showed my Protector of Tyria title, nobody seemed to care. I'm showing my Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer title now, and I'm whispered about it quite a bit. So it seems the community out there is more impressed with 100% cartographer than with protector. Just an observation.
Like others have said, I work on titles for me, mainly because otherwise there wouldn't be much to do while waiting for Nightfall.

Dude you dont know what you are talking about, I got masters on Viznuah square PUG'ing it on my survivor. 1.337 million is a long way to be carried and it aint gonna happen cause people dont have time to carry someone for that much XP. You are from the same Noobcake school who thinks everyone in FoW armor is an Ebayer. If you aint got the title stop professing what it takes to get it.
